The payload is natural language, not code
Traditional: malicious JavaScript. AI agent: malicious instructions in a markdown file. No binary to sandbox. The attack IS the text.
No sandbox, no boundary
AI agents run with your full permissions. Claude Code can execute any bash command. Cursor can read any file. There is no container between the agent and your system.
The trust model is inverted
npm: you require() a package and inspect the code. AI agent: the agent reads instructions and decides what to do. You cannot inspect inference.
Detection is fundamentally harder
You can grep for eval() in JavaScript. You cannot grep for 'instructions that will cause an AI to do something dangerous.' That's why we built ATR.
